Room Additions
Add a bedroom, home office, family room, or any other new space to your home. We build the structure from the foundation up, tie it into your existing roofline, and finish it to match inside and out.
We expand homes with additions that feel like they were always there. Structural integrity, seamless integration, and finishes that match what you already have — without the patchwork look.
Additions are among the most structurally complex residential projects. We do it right — foundation, framing, integration, and finishes that match your existing home.
Add a bedroom, home office, family room, or any other new space to your home. We build the structure from the foundation up, tie it into your existing roofline, and finish it to match inside and out.
A dedicated addition built for your primary bedroom — private, well-proportioned, and designed with the ensuite and closet space your current layout doesn’t have room for.
Not every addition requires a full room. A targeted bump-out of a few feet in the right direction — off a kitchen, dining area, or bathroom — can dramatically change how a space functions.
New attached or detached garages built to match your home’s architecture. Single or double stall, with or without living space above — we handle the full scope from slab to shingles.
A home addition is one of the most structurally demanding residential projects there is. Foundation work, roofline integration, matching existing materials — it’s not just building a room. It’s building a room that belongs. We’ve seen what happens when this gets rushed or cut-rate. That’s not what we do.
Additions involve more steps than a standard remodel — permits, foundation work, and structural framing before you ever see a finished wall. Here’s how it goes with us.
Site visit, scope discussion, and a clear honest quote. No cost, no commitment.
Written scope, materials, timeline, and pricing. We walk you through it before anything is signed.
We handle permit applications and inspections. Foundation and site prep begins.
Structure goes up, then mechanical, electrical, insulation, and drywall.
Interior finishes, exterior matching, and a final walkthrough. Done when you say it’s done.
It depends on scope, but additions take longer than most interior remodels because of foundation work, framing, and permit inspections that have to happen in sequence. A smaller bump-out might be 4–6 weeks. A full room addition or garage can run 3–5 months. We give you a realistic timeline in the written proposal — not a number designed to close the sale.
Yes — virtually all structural additions require permits. We handle the application process and coordinate required inspections at each phase of the project. Permit fees are the client’s responsibility and are included in the project agreement. We don’t cut corners on this.
We assess your existing siding, trim, roofline, and interior finishes at the estimate and factor matching materials into the proposal. On the interior, we match flooring, trim profiles, and ceiling heights where possible so the new space flows naturally from the old one. The goal is that you can’t tell where one stops and the other starts.
For most additions, yes — the new structure goes up on the exterior, and we don’t open the wall connecting it to the interior until the shell is weather-tight. The period where the interior is most disrupted is relatively short. We’ll walk you through the specific phasing during the proposal so you know what to expect and when.
